The Assistant will act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries and undertake research utilising streaming and broadcast data. Based in the heart of Liverpool\u2019s creative Baltic Triangle area, the Artist Services Assistant will play an integral part in guiding our artists through our publishing services, enabling songwriters to maximise their royalties and sustain their artistic careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Act as first point of contact for Sentric Music\u2019s artists via telephone, email, CRM software and Live Chat:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all queries are brought to a timely resolution, involving specialised teams as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in identifying ways to streamline query handling using technology and proactive information campaigns and assets. o Work with the Artist Services team to identify service bottlenecks, assisting with coordinating resolutions for these.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertake research &amp; music market analysis through processing broadcast, playlist &amp; streaming data and feed findings into the relevant Artist Liaison<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working alongside teams across Sentric Music including rights, sync and neighbouring rights to assure that Artists queries are answered and ensuring the processes of each individual team is taken into account when doing so<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist Artist Liaisons with researching high-value songwriters\/artists on the Sentric Roster and gathering details in advance of artist\/management conversations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with high profile artists\u2019 works onboarding onto the Sentric publishing platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work within the Artist Services team to achieve KPI goals for artists, assisting Artist Services Manager with the implementation of ongoing outreach initiatives as well as special Artist Services projects, including but not limited to:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partaking in the Sentric Academy Fund programme; guiding artists through the application process, reviewing and shortlisting incoming artist applications against funding criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributing with content ideas for the Sentric Accelerator Programme; proposing suitable artists and industry speakers to invite and deliver presentations to programme participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Domestic travel as well as out of office hours may be required to attend industry events and performances by Sentric Music\u2019s artists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A working knowledge of the music industry is required, demonstrated either through work experience and\/or studies within the fields of Music, Business Studies or Creative Industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly IT literate, with a working knowledge of Excel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of publishing is highly meriting, although not a requirement. Personal Qualities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passionate about music, with a strong enthusiasm for working with emerging artists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personable with a strong ability to form long-lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in a friendly and professional way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid organisational skills, the ability to make relevant priorities, plan and manage own workload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work effectively towards deadlines and remain methodical and focused during peak times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong attention to detail and a drive to be accurate and thorough at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A positive, can-do attitude. Works well independently and unsupervised, as well as within a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoy travelling with work when required, as well as working out of office hours attending our artists\u2019 live performances regularly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have the right to work in the UK, otherwise, the application will not be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants remote to Liverpool or London must address their relocation plans.
