Over a century in the making, we are a global leader in the industry and always take centre stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Act as the key membership point of contact for high profile black music writer and publisher members whilst representing PRS for Music at all key black music events. Own and develop a number of initiatives to improve the quality of service and increase the value of distributions to PRS\u2019s black music membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Writer Relations Team at PRS for Music is the direct point of contact for our highest earning writers, composers and arrangers as well as the managers, accountants and lawyers who represent them. We are a team of 17 experienced staff based all over the UK with staff in various English cities, Wales and Scotland. Within the team we have relationship managers covering day to day assistance and support as well as specific genre specialists looking after our highest earning and emerging dance music, classical music, media music, South Asian music and black music writers and publishers as well as a specific focus on our members who perform their music live at the largest venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the world-class talent PRS represents, we are keen to focus our efforts on retaining our key members while ensuring the next generation of superstar writers are identified and join as early in their careers as possible and feel welcome and trusting that PRS is the best home for their rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As our Relationship Manager \u2013 Black Music , some of your day to day duties will include\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Delivering a tailored account management programme for high value and emerging writer\/producers and music publishers active in the black music sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dealing with escalated service requests and managing to a successful conclusion whilst taking action to ensure issues do not re-occur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Representing PRS at relevant industry meetings, appearing on any relevant panels or events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The creation and implemention of an acquisition and retention strategy for high earning and emerging black music writer and publisher members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At PRS for Music, we want you to bring the best version of yourself to work every day.
