Each week, through a series of live group sessions and coaching programs online, we help DJs to get booked, launch their own brands, successfully run and fill their own events, level up their socials, and move into music full-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for somebody to join our team and manage the front-end content offering. This includes the new editorial offering, the weekly newsletter, social content, and marketing copy as well as getting involved in the artist interviews and podcasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We\u2019re looking for somebody who:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Eats, sleeps and breathes dance music.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stays up to date with all of the current music industry trends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has a keen interest in music marketing as well as artist, label, and event promo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is pretty up to date with the social media landscape as it pertains to dance music brands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has a good understanding of artist and brand development tactics, and is willing to learn more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is a skilled writer. This role is heavily skewed towards written content, and your skill set should match that. Bonus points if you have an interest in copywriting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is an interesting writer. All of the other technical writing stuff should be a given, but we\u2019re looking for interesting content. You should be able to write about the music industry without sounding like \u2018just another press release\u2019 and boring the audience to sleep (which is pretty common these days). In a world where so much content will be written by AI, we want our content to sound like a human with an actual soul was involved somewhere in the loop. So if you\u2019re human with an actual soul, that\u2019s a bonus &#8211; if you\u2019re an interesting one, even better!&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actually reads the job description before applying &nbsp;&#8211; I\u2019ll ask you for a code when applying to weed out timewasters, that code is 88. Include it in the subject line when applying so I know you\u2019ve read the job posting and understand the role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has a decent portfolio of past writing to show us. Writers write, so if you\u2019re applying make sure we can binge your stuff somewhere online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is passionate about what they do, and wants to be involved in something really enjoyable that\u2019s consumed and shared in high numbers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities Will Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Conceptualising and writing features for the new Under The Booth website.<br>Managing the Under The Booth front-end content output.<br>Liaising with the social team to ensure maximum audience engagement.<br>Liaising with artists, labels, venues, and brands for interviews, features, etc<br>Assisting with the copy for social media and marketing assets.<br>Managing weekly newsletter output.&nbsp;<br>Writing stuff that people actually want to stop and read.<br>Enjoying yourself doing work you love.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you like the sound of this but think you\u2019re not quite ready for this role, and would like to gain experience and training first, then check out our intern listing also posted here on Doors Open.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you think this role is for you, then please apply below.
