Our 8 week paid placement will give you the chance to work across our shows and departments. You’ll get hands on skills and experience at BBC Radio 1\u2019s HQ. <\/p>\n\n\n\nRole Responsibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Monday 14th August \u2013 Friday 6th October 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will work on 2 x 3 week rotations, working with a programme team and another Radio 1 department. You will also have a mentor, who will spend time with you every week to discuss how your placement is going as well as your future plans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are a 24\/7 station so hours across the placement will vary. We are also keen that our trainees have a diverse experience and have as much involvement as possible. Therefore, we are looking for people who are flexible and are willing to work weekends or late nights. We will do our best to take personal circumstance into consideration when designing the schedule.
