This role will report directly to the Partner and Co-Founder of RECORDS and can be in New York or Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU\u2019LL DO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Find and acquire recording artists, songs and producers through demos, recordings and live performances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultivate relationships with artists and representatives and negotiate deals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solicit producers and coordinate meetings with artists and producers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spearhead recording, mixing and mastering sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select singles and key tracks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gather deliverables, negotiate producer agreements, mixer agreements, gather label copy and deliver assets to operations team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as liaison with artist, artist managers and art department regarding marketing concepts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide comprehensive feedback on new music to head of label.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and recommend submitted\/solicited demos as well as online material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide creative input and direction on artist\u2019s material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan and monitor recording budgets for assigned projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep projects within agreed budget and schedule\/timeline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHO YOU ARE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>6-8 years of experience in A&amp;R and artist development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong artist relation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects throughout the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to handle and defuse intense situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to handle talent relations effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work across multiple departments successfully.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to understand, manage and forecast budgets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel is required as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be willing and able to attend concerts, artist appearances, and photo and video shoots as requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to attend artist performances, recording sessions and rehearsals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits &amp; Perks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT WE GIVE YOU:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to fuel the creative journey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our Hybrid with Flexibility approach combines the flexibility of remote working with the benefits of in-person collaboration whenever we need to come together to do our best work.
