Described by the NY Times as \u201cthe most influential electronic music site in the world\u201d, every month RA reaches more than 5m people across its web, mobile and app properties.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RA is looking for someone with a passion for electronic music culture and editorial content to help us better represent local communities within our Content team while also working closely with our International department. As a Local Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating original short form content and covering stories within Australia for RA\u2019s social channels, writing local news and event picks and helping us build our community-focused content to provide more on-the-ground, local coverage of community scenes. You will also help us create and implement new content offerings for our city pages, as well as represent RA locally during key partnership moments.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RA welcomes applicants from all abilities, backgrounds, ethnicities, experiences, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. We actively promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace, this is reflected in our internal operations and the treatment of our staff.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Create original and compelling short form content for various digital platforms, including social media, editorial and film Reels\/TikToks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct research and stay up-to-date on local industry trends to inform content creation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of Australian content is covered and created<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the Content team to align content with our brand guidelines and objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze and report on content performance to inform future content strategy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write local electronic music news<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write RA event picks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with local community on community content like guides and recommendations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grow RA\u2019s audience and profile in key cities in Australia by shaping and delivering new local content ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent RA at events, partnerships and a liaison for our community of artists, partners and platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience writing about music related topics in any format<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth knowledge of the most relevant and popular electronic music artists, labels, venues, promoters and events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2+ years of experience in content creation, preferably in a freelance capacity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to write compelling content across different digital platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our values:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Electronic music is art.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We celebrate the progressive values that underpin electronic music.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We advocate for a more inclusive and equitable electronic music community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We honour the past, present and future of electronic music.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We use innovation to empower the community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We choose honesty over gain and purpose over profit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We\u2019re always front left.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This role is&nbsp;<\/em><em>a freelance role<\/em><em>&nbsp;and the day rate starts at $200 AUS.
