Dedicated to long-term artist development, the label has a diverse roster across a variety of musical genres including Blxst, Albert Hammond Jr, The Aces, Flawes, and Beartooth. Reporting directly to the Head of A&amp;R, you will manage the administrative and operational (i.e., all &#8220;non-creative&#8221;) elements of the A&amp;R department working at the intersection of A&amp;R, Legal, and Finance across the Red Bull Records roster. This includes administering all A&amp;R related budgets, handling recording logistics, and administering delivery and recording related clearance issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RECORDING PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Manage internal workflow for Red Bull Records recording across the roster, liaising between A&amp;R, Artist Management, and all involved in recording process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Onboard artists and new artists teams to begin recording cycle process, communicating company systems and best practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with A&amp;R and artist management to prepare recording cost budgets and periodic forecasts in tandem with the Finance department and contractual commitments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage and Prepare budget reforecast approval memos if needed; then circulate for approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with A&amp;R assistants and management for travel and accommodations for artists\/writers during the recording\/writing process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage rates with studios, engineers, mixing, and mastering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process all recording related payments, getting new vendors set up and coding invoices for Finance team&#8217;s review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AUDIO CLEARANCES &amp; DELIVERABLES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with A&amp;R to manage the mastering process, confirming music approval with senior management, cataloging assets, and disseminating approved music internally and externally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review deliverables before confirming approval and paying back-ends (completed producer\/ \/mixer agreement&#8217;s; sample licenses; publishing splits; audio files submission )<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with A&amp;R and Business Affairs on sample and side artist clearing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track roster delivery commitments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alert Business Affairs, Head of label and Head of A&amp;R when options are triggered for each artist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INTERNAL &amp; EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Provide communication regarding the status of each project (i.e., providing budget projections to A&amp;R, alerting business affairs of legal issues, notifying artist\/management of production deadlines, advising senior management of potential project overages or delays)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain relationships on behalf of Red Bull Records with relevant attorneys, managers, engineers, and producers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend A&amp;R and all relevant meetings, providing updates and strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with the Marketing department to update recording delivery calendar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with Royalties to confirm that all questions are answered in preparation for quarterly statement rendering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LABEL COPY &amp; AUDIO ARCHIVAL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Manage archive system for all Global Music Assets and A&amp;R audio through all recording stages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage all audio storage and distribution accounts (Dropbox, Disco)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage information, whether working with roster teams or assembling accurate publishing information and splits, credits, and lyrics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gather and archive label copy information and coordinate with digital department for audio ingestion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years&#8217; experience in a similar role at a record company, publisher, or studio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heavy A&amp;R Admin skills are a must (this is a non-Creative role); can manage high-volume<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with accounting, budgets and other financial concepts;
