Social Media Manager at Epitaph Records (US)

Job Description

The Social Media Manager is responsible for enhancing Epitaph’s digital presence, growing its reach, and improving engagement across all social media platforms. This role involves creating engaging content, implementing innovative campaigns, analyzing performance data, and interacting with our audience.

This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing, but works directly with Marketing Directors, Artists, Managers, and other team members to help grow the label’s and artist’s digital presence.

This is a hybrid (Weds/Thurs via Epitaph’s Los Angeles office) or remote position.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in social media management or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to develop engaging content that inspires user interaction.
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs, and ability to interpret data and provide actionable insight.
  • Passion for social media, music, and a deep understanding of the label and music industry.
  • Skillful with Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects

Epitaph Records is an American independent record label owned by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, most acts signed to the label were punk and pop punk acts, while there are many post-hardcore and emo bands signed to the label as well.
