As the Manager of Paid Search, you would be responsible for defining strategy, owning performance, and leading a team to execute on multi-million-dollar monthly budgets. This seasoned subject matter expert will be responsible for driving business results to include new customer acquisition, revenue, and ROI.
In this role you lead a strong in-house program to help execute on strategic, tactical, technical, quantitative vision you have for our search program. You will also oversee partner relationships and be charged with identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing multiple paid search initiatives against marketing goals.
Create, manage, and own paid advertising efforts on Google and Bing, building plans and strategy to fuel growth and optimization.
Manage our product remarketing campaigns through Criteo
Manage for our Affiliate program with our Affiliate agency
Track, report and provide analysis on all performance metrics for paid search campaigns, including internal and external competitor strategy analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Monitor and manage ad spend budgets to maximize growth and returns
Perform routine audits of our accounts, campaigns, ad copy, to identify ways to continuously improve performance to meet and exceed goals
Create and develop new campaigns and accounts for new product launches
Manage and work with our Paid Search and Affiliate agencies to optimize results
Work with key stakeholders and internal departments to define paid search acquisition strategy, objectives and deadlines to ensure strategic imperatives and goals are met
Develop quarterly plans, optimize operations, and drive business results.
Develop effective hypothesis for A/B tests by conducting creative / landing page optimizations
Provide thought leadership to help identify new opportunities and other emerging advertising platforms.
Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure relevant organizational goals are factored into PPC Search projects.
Engage with senior company management to represent resource needs and performance.
Drive innovation and education on the search channels within the organization.
5 years marketing experience with 3 years in Search Engine Marketing.
In-depth understanding of Paid Search campaign management and optimization practice
Experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Data studio
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Extensive experience in Search Ads 360 or similar
Set up of and maintenance of shopping feeds
Direct response marketing (B2C) within retail background a plus
Experience with pixels/tags for conversion tracking a plus
Analytical capabilities and the ability to turn trends into actionable items
Demonstrated track record of managing a sizable budget, driving financial performance, and attaining measurable results through projects with a clear ROI/CPA target.
Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), both in articulating his/her ideas and gathering input from key stakeholders.
Comfortable creating presentations & presenting to senior management.
Innovative thinker able to operate both in strategic capacity, but also with laser-focus on flawless execution.
