We are looking for a musically trained individual to join our Content Team on a full-time permanent basis to contribute to the expansion, maintenance and continual improvement of our library.
Preparing files and metadata received from our Publishing Partners.
Uploading the files and metadata into the library.
Ensuring quality control of both files and metadata.
Working directly with music publishers to integrate their catalogue into our library – there will also be an element of relationship building with key figures in the publishing houses.
Contributing to the improvement of the library, both in terms of the scope of content that we provide to musicians, and the standard of the metadata for search and discoverability purposes.
Supporting other areas of the business when needed.
High honours degree or Postgraduate degree in Music, preferably specialising in Classical Music.
Past experience with metadata entry and enrichment is preferred.
Past experience in music publishing is a bonus.
In-depth knowledge and a passion for music history, instrumentation, repertoire and theory.
Strong data entry and proofreading skills. Excellent attention to detail is a must.
High standard of written and spoken English.
Knowledge of a second modern language is a bonus.
