  • Understand customer, industry, and competitor trends/behaviours in market (macro, external, internal). Based on that, you will identify growth opportunities
  • Additionally, you will optimize subscriber growth along the whole conversion funnel – from Direct marketing to payment, onboarding, migration and retention. You work with global internal teams and selected external partners to drive those initiatives
  • Work closely with other teams, especially local consumer marketing, Artist and label partnerships, and business development. That’s how you ensure maximum growth across all the business levers that we have at our disposal
  • You will also work with the wider Freemium team, globally- based to address challenges in conversion, payment, engagement, retention, etc

  • Ability in using various tools to analyze, test, and implement online marketing activities (e.g. Google Analytics, email management/CRM, SQL) and possess the core technical skills needed or are otherwise a quick learner (e.g. basic HTML editing, running simple SQL queries, etc.)

  • Good knowledge and insights into the Japanese (online) consumer market and media landscape
  • Comfortable to work remotely from other team members, but even so, able to stay in sync and influence internal team members by being an excellent communicator
  • Have a proven record of leading and driving projects independently and getting things done in a cross-functional organization. You will not always have direct control of all the resources, but you still get the job done
