Email Marketing Manager at Sofar Sounds (US)

Job Description

As an Email Marketing Manager, you’ll oversee all of our CRM campaigns and focus on activities across multiple channels that engage with and deliver value to Sofar fans all over the world!

You will report to our wonderful VP, Growth Marketing (Jean!) and partner closely with your Growth team colleagues, as well as our Partnership and Community teams to plan, coordinate and execute optimized campaigns that meet a variety. You will be the channel expert for our email (Ometria) and SMS platforms, advising on audience and campaign tactics based on your in-depth understanding of what works best.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee email campaigns for all growth and brand communications, building efficient processes and ways of working
  • Work closely with content and creative team members to achieve brand consistency and real excellence across our communications
  • Develop automated user lifecycle campaigns
  • Continuously optimize the effectiveness of our emails through analysis and testing, owning the test planning, execution and analysis so that we’re always improving and focussing on the biggest opportunities
  • Work with our analytics team using audience data to develop a CRM behavioral segmentation that informs our messaging cadence
  • Own reporting to measure and track campaign and channel performance
  • Identify and develop new channels to further reach and engage our audiences, such as Mobile, SMS and paid media
  • Collaborate with our chosen vendor(s) and in-house engineering team to build and maintain a first-class customer management platform, ensuring real-time data availability and accuracy
  • Work to understand and improve email deliverability and technical capability to manage the health of our contact lists and the reputation of our domain
  • You’ll also discover a lot of great new music, from all around the world

Requirements

  • Experience working in an email marketing/ CRM focussed role
  • You have knowledge of multiple channels, can work across them, tracking spend and return on investment
  • You take a data-driven, analytical approach to achieve the best results
  • Able to work autonomously yet remain connected with your team and cross-functional partners
  • If you’ve worked in the music industry/ with fans – that’d be advantageous but it’s not essential
  • Genuine, demonstrated commitment to supporting artists and local music
