Creative Digital Specialist at Roc Nation (US)

Job Description

Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is looking for a Creative Digital Specialist to work in our NYC office. In this role you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders on how we strategize our social media publishing, voice, and approach within a dynamic digital team. This role must understand the company culture, how the company and brand move culture forward, and how our voice during cultural and relevant moments is vital. You must react strategically in unplanned cultural events while always strategically planning for events known ahead of time. To establish our voice and presence in an ever moving and evolving space, we must dedicate equal time to the HOW, WHAT and WHY. Bringing together insights-driven recommendations and the cultural knowledge of today — you’ll work cross functionally to build channel strategies to enhance Roc Nation’s cultural voice across the digital space.

The primary objective of the role is to support the digital and creative teams with strategizing, execution, and analysis of social publishing about cultural moments across all global platforms. Success in this role will come from developing a deep understanding of the company’s role in the creation of culture and moving it forward, developing a strategic mindset, and demonstrating agility in planning and executing social-first opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including digital, brand creative, and brand strategy to build a wholistic approach
  • Copywriting across digital channels to establish cohesive brand voice
  • Weekly and seasonal content planning, optimized for each social platform
  • Concept social narratives and stories that execute the brand vision and marketing priorities
  • Work closely with creative + design and digital teams to strategize live and special events coverage across social media channels
  • Copywriting across digital channels to establish cohesive brand voice
  • Support and develop platform-specific strategies across all social channels. Create strategic recommendations for all cultural moments.
  • Own the cultural calendar and planning of how Roc Nation’s digital channels will have a voice and space dedicated to cultural moments

Requirements

  • Full understanding of the Roc Nation brand, all subsequent verticals, and partner companies (Team Roc, Shawn Carter Foundation, etc.)
  • Proven track record of copywriting and publishing on social media
  • Self-starter with proven track record of supporting cross-team partnership in development of social/digital campaigns that are on-strategy and drive results
  • Strong organizational skills + ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of social platforms, social trends, and best ways to communicate content
