City Manager at Resident Advisor (US)
Job Description
The City Manager’s primary focus is to support the local electronic music scene in Atlanta through content and editorial as part of the RA Contributor Network, which aims to support local scenes around the world. They will be responsible for keeping club and event listings updated and accurate, adding missing events, clubs, artists, labels and promoters to the site and helping users and readers discover the best events and music Atlanta has to offer. They will be responsible for pitching local news, reviews, mixes and feature ideas from Atlanta to the News Team and selecting and contributing RA Picks for events in the city. The City Manager will act as a link between RA and our readers and users from the local electronic music community in Atlanta and is responsible for sharing ideas and feedback with the wider company.
Responsibilities

Adding local content (events, artists, labels, promoters)

Maintaining the club database: updating them with pics, logos, addresses & links

Delivering interesting local stories, artists, labels, releases and mixes for editorial

Selecting and writing RA Picks

Pitch local community events and execute them with the help of RA’s community team

Assist the revenue team with local ads and ticketing leads

Assist with IRL events
Requirements

Embedded within local scene with wide existing network

Outgoing personality who builds networks quickly

Track record of effective communication, both personal and digital

A passion and understanding of electronic music culture is fundamental
