Job Description

You will drive overall strategy and tactical execution for Content Operations for this wide and diverse region. This requires a detailed understanding of the metadata needs, characteristics, and challenges specific to Europe, Middle East, and Africa. You will represent and evangelize to your counterparts in Cupertino, ensuring that the diverse local priorities are fully supported. You will also partner with teams throughout International, from Editorial to Business, and Data Analytics to Engineering, as well as your colleagues in California, to craft a truly global strategy that fulfills local needs and nuances.

Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to articulate a global strategy for Content Operations, syncing that up with tactical plans.

Be responsible for a vendor team of music curators who create lyrics and curate music metadata for high priority, highly visible content for the European Middle Eastern, and African markets. Establish, monitor, and carry out quality and productivity critical metrics.

You will work with vendor managers to continuously refine processes, prototype reporting solutions and work with AMP Data Analytics to automate and trouble-shoot technical issues and liaise with AMP Engineering to find resolutions.

Manage relationships and evangelize Content Services work with Editorial, Business, and Technical Label Representative teams across EMEA. Monitor local priorities and unique challenges to these markets — present solutions based on an understanding of tools, standards, and bandwidth.

You will back up local learning with data to represent EMEA priorities and issues to Cupertino and align with Cupertino and global Music Curation labs to ensure that processes, documentation, and training are consistent and optimized.

Ideally a Bachelors degree in Project Management, Data Science, Information Science, Library Science, or similar studies.

Requirements

  • Experience working with teams a variety of locations to collaboratively craft strategic goals and plans.
  • Demonstrable experience in media oriented metadata management or project management.
  • Expert user of Excel/Numbers, Tableau, and Keynote.
  • Passion for, and broad knowledge of, music and the industry.
  • Experience with vendor management and understanding of co-employment issues.
  • Experience with workflow management and data analytic/visualization.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills — verbal, written, and visual.
  • Process driven and detail oriented.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to find creative solutions.
  • Fluency in Apple’s ecosystem and values.
